According to employees of the Khimki City Court, it all started with the fact that the pensioner had been keeping a diary of the temperature of the water in the tap since 2018 and recorded every case when it was below 60 ° C. Over seven years, 2,847 records with photos and thermometer measurements have accumulated. «She came with three thick folders and said: «I'm not for money, I'm for justice»,» says a source in the court. The judge satisfied the claim in full: he recognized a systematic violation of the Sanitary Rules and Regulations and ordered «Teploset» not only to return all payments for the last three years (187 thousand rubles), but also to provide G.I. Smirnova with free hot water supply until December 31, 2035 «as compensation for moral damage and legal costs». The press service of the MUP «Teploset» said that «the decision will be appealed, but so far the hot water meter in the pensioner's apartment has been sealed, and there are already zero rubles in the receipts for December. Neighbors in the riser are already buying thermometers en masse and starting diaries. One of them, on condition of anonymity, admitted: «Galina Ivanovna is now a local legend. He says that if something happens, he will tell everyone how to measure correctly».
